Meet our Doctors
Neal Potrykus, DDS
I attended Carroll College, Waukesha, WI for my undergraduate education and earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Marquette University in 1984. I take between 25 – 50 hours of continuing education every year to stay on the cutting edge of new procedures and technology so I can provide you the very best of care.
Jason Potrykus, DDS, FADIA
I love to make people smile. It’s as simple as that. I love the challenge of helping you, our patients, find the best solutions for your health and dental health care needs. I believe that passion shines through in my work. Jazmine Risse
Dental Assistant – Eagle River & Three Lakes
Jazmine has been with Potrykus Family Dentistry since September 2018. She began working part-time learning everything she could about the sterilization and lab process, and has worked her way up to being an experienced dental assistant as well as one of our all on x implant surgery assistants. Jazmine’s enthusiasm for her job is infectious and she makes us all laugh regularly making our days fun and enjoyable and we’re lucky enough to share her in both locations.
When not at the office you can find Jazmine, with her husband and pup – Chloe, off on some adventure… Hiking, long boarding, trying new recipes or spending quiet time at home reading.
Sally Lester
Dental Assistant – Eagle River & Three Lakes
Sally joined our team in September 2001. She was born and raised in Freedom WI. She graduated dental assisting school in 1994 from Northeast WI Technical College.
Sally is always looking for ways to learn and expand her horizons. Sally loves getting to know our patients and making them feel comfortable in the dental chair and confident in their smiles. You’ll meet Sally in both our Three Lakes & Eagle River offices as she splits her assisting schedule between both Dr Neal & Dr Jason.
When not in the office you’ll definitely find Sally with her family. The entire Lester family are avid bicyclists including cross country style rides & bicycle racing. During the winter you’ll probably meet them on the cross country ski trails.
Katie Rheinschmidt
Hygienist – Eagle River
Katie has been with Potrykus Family Dentistry since June 2002. She has developed a strong and lasting relationship with so many of our patients. Her professionalism and passion for patient care exemplify what Potrykus Family Dentistry is all about. Katie attended Northcentral Technical College and graduated in 1991 with her Dental hygiene license. She has gone on to obtain additional training in laser dentistry to treat periodontal disease, anesthetic delivery and well as many additional hours in continuing education to stay on top of her game.
In her spare time Katie enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dog Trey. When it’s warm you’ll probably find her on the golf course sharpening her golf swing and improving her game.
Sarah Russell
Receptionist – Bookkeeping
Sarah joined Potrykus Family Dentistry in 2014. Sarah completed online courses with the University of Phoenix and obtained her degree in Healthcare Administration. Sarah is in charge of the office bookkeeping and assists with various duties of our front office and is one of the soothing voices you hear on the other line answering our phones or calling to schedule your appointment in the Eagle River office.
When not in the office you can find Sarah spending time with her husband and teenage son. They enjoy movie nights and family vacations. Sarah also enjoys quiet time reading, sewing and crafting.
Sherri Anderson
Assistant
Sherri joined Potrykus Family Dentistry June 2020. Sherri came to our office just as the dental world was reopening following the initial pandemic shut downs. She has brought with her a quiet kindness that helps make patients feel at ease during their dental appointments.
When Sherri isn’t working you will find her spending time with family: fishing, boating, ATVing and enjoying quiet time gardening.
Vicki Potrykus
Advertising
Vicki has been with Potrykus Family Dentistry since day one! Married to Dr Neal she has been a vital part of the office as a fill in assistant to front office staff from the start. Today, she enjoys a more laid back position handling advertising and patient recall. This gives her the chance to spend as much time as possible with her 9 beautiful grandchildren; Ethan, Matthew, Landon, Owen, Aiden, Emma & Gretta, Ben & Gus.
Catherine Schmidt
Hygienist – Eagle River
Catherine first came to Potrykus Family Dentistry in 2019 as part of the Northland Pines school to work program. Initially helping with various assistant duties and sterilization on a prn basis around her continuing education schedules. Graduating from Northcentral Technical College in 2022 and joining our team as a hygienist!
In her spare time you can fine her doing home renovations and spending time with her husband and golden retriever, Henry.
Megan Lester
Student/Assistant – future dentist
Megan joined Potrykus Family Dentistry in 2020 as part of the Three Lakes school to work program and is interested in pursuing her education in dentistry following graduation.
Currently a senior at Three Lakes High School Megan is a top student with an interest in cycling & cross country skiing. We look forward to watching and sharing in her continued growth and interest in dentistry. Hopefully some day we can announce that Dr Megan Lester will be joining our team.
Jacque Deditz
Front Office
Jacque is a local to the Three Lakes area, attending the Three Lakes school system from elementary to high school. Joining Potrykus Family Dentistry in 2001 as a chair side assistant, transitioning to the front office lead in 2003 and to our treatment & financial coordinator in
2022.
Jacque oversees the day to day functions of both our front offices. Her advanced knowledge of every aspect of the dental office enables her to provide broad guidance and training for our practice and our patients. She works hard to assure that things run seamlessly and our patients and staff members are happy.
Amy Meyer
Assistant – Eagle River
Amy joined Potrykus Family Dentistry January 2022 as a part time chairside assistant when one of our long time assistants retired. Graduating from Dental Assisting school in 1992, her vast knowledge and experience have been a wonderful addition to our team.
When not at the office you can find her spending time with her husband & golden retriever Perry enjoying all four seasons the Northwoods has to offer from ice fishing to pontooning as well as watching the grandkids play sports & relaxing with a good book.
Billie Jo Ernest
Hygienist – Part time
Billie Jo joined our office on a temporary basis to help us fill in when we were short on coverage and decided to stay on part-time in our Eagle River location on Wednesdays. We’re so glad to have her, her bubbly personality keeps everyone in a great mood and days flying by. Patients leave her chair smiling every time!
